Who We Are

Feedbacker ("we", "us", or "our") is a review platform for farmers market vendors and customers, operated at feedbacker.market. We are based in the United States. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at feedbackerhelp@gmail.com.

What We Collect

  • Email address — required to create an account and log in.
  • Password — stored as a secure, one-way hash. We never see or store your plain-text password.
  • Display name or business name — shown publicly on your profile or reviews.
  • Reviews and ratings — the content you submit is stored and displayed publicly.
  • Profile photos — if you upload one as a Premium vendor, it is stored securely and displayed publicly on your profile.
  • IP address — collected when someone views a vendor profile, used only for anonymous view-count analytics. We do not link IP addresses to individual user identities.
  • Payment information — if you subscribe to Feedbacker Premium, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

How We Use Your Data

  • To operate your account and provide the Feedbacker service.
  • To send transactional emails — verification codes, password resets, and subscription receipts.
  • To display your reviews and vendor profile publicly.
  • To provide vendors with anonymous analytics about their profile views.
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy.

We use the following services to operate Feedbacker. Each has its own privacy policy:

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential to the service — without it you cannot use your account. It does not track you across other websites and contains no advertising identifiers.

Your Rights

  • Access — you can view all data associated with your account by logging in.
  • Deletion — you can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. When you delete your account, your email and password are permanently removed. Reviews you wrote are anonymised and remain visible without your name attached.
  • Correction — contact us to correct any inaccurate information.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed immediately. Anonymised review content is retained indefinitely as it forms part of the public record of the platform.

Children

Feedbacker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Feedbacker after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
